WhiteOp - White ophthalmic suppy
"Who We Are We are a 100% Canadian owned and operated company located in Rocky View County, Alberta. As Canada’s coast to coast supplier for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists, we are proud to be serving the Canadian optical industry for over 40 years. Our Mission Statement To meet all of the purchasing needs of Canada’s optical industry, to supply quality products with economical pricing, to create easy purchasing solutions, and to service our customers with friendliness and professionalism. Our History Formerly known as White Ophthalmic Services & Supply Co Ltd, the company was founded by Barbara White in the early 1980s providing custom contact lenses and GP materials. The company began selling contact lens accessories in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and it was during this time that Daniel Mazac was added to the workforce. He continued to expand the company’s product line, eventually adding items for all facets of the optical industry. In the 2000s, WhiteOp began carrying pharmaceutical products, held several DIN numbers and began working on importation. In 2012, the company was split into two separate entities, White Ophthalmic Services & Supply Co Ltd, and White Ophthalmic Supply 2012. White Ophthalmic Services & Supply Co Ltd is managed and owned by Barbara White, continuing the importation of pharmaceuticals and the management of DIN numbers. White Ophthalmic Supply 2012 continues the supply side of the company and is managed by Daniel Mazac who is a co-owner with Randy Schultz. Both entities remain tightly knit and in a mutually beneficial partnership."
